ICF International is adding staff for exciting energy work. We seek
established professionals able to perform in a variety of disciplines
including but not limited to strategic energy sector analysis,
techno-economic analysis and modeling, life-cycle assessment, energy
infrastructure analysis and technical communications and outreach.
ICF's rapidly growing (500+) Energy & Resources practice offers results
and solutions to the Department of Energy, other public agencies as well
as to commercial clients dealing with energy issues in the Americas,
Europe, and Asia. ICF International provides a portfolio of strategy,
analysis, advisory services, and implementation tools to clients in the
energy sector for more than 30 years. Long recognized for innovative

enables us to advise clients from the inception of their business plan
through the delivery of services to their customers.
What will you do?
Working in project teams both within ICF and alongside
our clients, support the efforts of staff in strategic energy sector
analysis and planning, engineering analysis using state of the art
simulation and modeling tools, R&D benefit analyses, life-cycle
analysis, natural resource development impact assessment, and energy
infrastructure analyses. Provide technical expertise in scientific,
engineering, business and policy disciplines needed for in-depth
understanding of advanced technologies, complex systems, and
legislative/policy issues.
What experience are we looking for?
A Bachelor's degree, Masters or PhD
in the one of the following disciplines: Electrical Engineering, Systems
Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Mechanical
Engineering, Economics, Mathematics, Operations Research or related
subject. Successful candidates should have professional energy sector
expertise in at least one of the following areas: Coal, Oil, and Natural
Gas production, processing, distribution and utilization; Environmental
Analysis and Compliance; Energy Efficiency; Renewable Energy; Nuclear
Energy; and Energy Supply/Demand Modeling.
What additional skills would we like to see?
- Experience working with
process design models, including Aspen PlusTM
- Experience with Life
Cycle Analysis, environmental analysis and assessment
- Working knowledge
of coal and power industries to create analytical data
- Ability to
understand and classify current environmental regulations
- Outstanding
writing and verbal communication skills
- Outstanding skills in framing
and applying analytical thought to solving complex problems
- Preparing
and presenting persuasive presentations with reports and findings
Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance is a plus.
